wound

Basic technology that works. Wound filter cartridges have been successfully used in industry for decades, with little change in the method of manufacture, and are an effective matrix for trapping particulate within the media. Our wounds are manufactured by AFL in Cleveland, UK who maximise modern production techniques. AFL are unique in this country, being the only plant today to control the manufacture from raw polypropylene extract through to the computer controlled winding. Available in 3 medias and a wide span of micron ratings, wound filter cartridges offer cost effective particulate filtration with a history to prove it.

Available in 4 7/8", 5", 9 3/4", 9 7/8", 10", 19 1/2", 20", 29 1/4", 30", and 40" lengths.

poly depth

The thermal bonded, micro-fibre polypropylene construction offers no fibre release and high consistent flow rates due to unique micro-grooves providing added surface area. It produces a rigid cartridge that is less subject to collapse than any wound or pleated cartridge, yet not as brittle or prone to the breakage problems common with resin bonded cartridges. Polydepth should be specified where temperature and viscosity are outside the specifications of Osmonics' spun-bonded range.

Available in 9 3/4", 20", 30", and 40" lengths.

resin bonded - Probond

Resin-bonded - for applications requiring a cartridge construction capable of withstanding temperatures up to 121oC at high viscosity. Typically filtration of paint and inks. Nominal ratings from 2-125 micron.

Available in 9 3/4", 10", 19 1/2", 20", 29 1/4", 30", and 40" lengths.

polyspun thermal bonded

Pentek polyspun sediment filters are a quality trusted brand product at a budget price.

Polyspun are manufactured under strict quality control procedures laid down by Pentek, whose reputation has been built on quality. Using advanced extrusion technology to produce a 100% polypropylene range that has a consistent inner graded matrix allowing higher particulate retention than similar predecessors. A final stage thermal treatment given to the Polyspun (PS) finish eliminates the traditional fibre migration concerns. The end result is a more userfriendly texture.!!
