| SPECTRUM Pleat² | | The latest innovation to come from the SPECTRUM filtration range is the Pleat2. Constructed from a single sheet of polyester media, wrapped around a central polypropylene core, the Pleat2 has a broad range of micron ratings, lengths and larger diameter options make it the ideal entry level pleated filter. Key Product Features Unrivalled filter range Benefitting from a great choice of micron ratings, more than any other standard filter range, the SPECTRUM Pleat² cartridge features 7 micron ratings, 5 different lengths and 2 dimension options representing 49 different configurations to reduce dirt, sand, sediment, silt, rust, scale and other particles from incoming water supplies. High surface area A large surface area means the SPECTRUM Pleat² cartridge, with its 0.35m² (3.82ft²) per 10", is able to achieve high flow rates, maintain excellent dirt-holding levels, whilst delivering an extremely low pressure drop across the filter. Cartridge integrity Each end of the SPECTRUM Pleat² cartridge is thermally bound using vinyl plastisol to provide integral joints, fusing the pleat pack together around a tough inner polypropylene core. Economic filtration Where the aggressive demands of a polypropylene media cartridge are not required, the polyester media of the SPECTRUM Pleat² cartridge delivers an economic entry level pleat for non-critical applications. Bespoke lengths Where applications dictate variables to industry standard cartridge sizes, bespoke lengths of the SPECTRUM Pleat² cartridge are available upon request. Compatibility Designed to fit a wide range of industry standard housings in 5" to 40" configurations, including the new SPECTRUM Aqualyze range of standard and large diameter plastic housings |

| SPECTRUM Premier Pleated cartridges | | Key Product Features
Extended surface area (0.6m2 per TIE) Previously 0.4m2 the amount of media used has been increased by 50%, ensuring superior flow rates and higher dirt-loading capabilities. Sharp cut-off characteristics Constructed using technically advanced media, the Premier Pleat is capable of effectively and consistently removing the desired particles, while allowing finer non-damaging particles through thereby maximizing filter life and ensuring dependable particle separation over the life of the cartridge. Rigid outer polypropylene shell Advancements in technology have allowed the outer casing to be improved to a more robust structure, providing increased protection to the pleat pack, essential for more challenging applications. Thermally-bonded construction All Premier Pleat filter cartridges are thermally bonded as opposed to being of glued construction, this ensures that there is no leaching of adhesives into the filter stream, which is essential in many applications, particularly food and beverage. Bespoke lengths Where applications dictate variables to industry standard cartridge sizes, bespoke lengths are available upon request. Extensive chemical compatibility Being of total polypropylene construction, the Premier Pleat range lends itself to a wide range of applications where chemical compatibility is a concern. Premier Pleat cartridge specification options The Premier Pleat range offers an extensive choice of micron options from sub-micron upwards, ensuring its suitability and adaptability to pre- or final filtration applications. Along with micron selection, a full range of end-cap and O-ring options are available, enabling easy installation to the majority of filter housings. |

| Filter sleeves | | Filter sleeves provide surface filtration in the most popular configuration, 10", allowing installation into all conventional 10" filter housings, as well as the miniature housings F10 and F20
The range consists of seven grades from 5 to 350 micron. For finer filtration, 5 micron disposable, porous polyethylene should be used, with coarser applications using the nylon mesh sleeves in 50 micron (white), 100 micron (blue), 150 micron (brown), 200 micron (green), 350 micron (grey), which are colour coded for convenience.
Each sleeve requires a support core that, as it suggests, gives the sleeve the strength it requires to withstand pressure differentials as the media removes debris. This is the first economic advantage these products offer over traditional cartridges, as in the economy of not disposing of the whole cartridge, the support is used again and again. The second advantage is that all nylon mesh sleeves can be easily washed free of debris and, like the support core, can be used again and again.
With the exemption of F10 nylon mesh sleeves, all sleeves require a reusable support core of relevant size. The nylon F10 sleeve fits directly into the head of the housing.
