Pyrolox Systems

Operating Parameters

pH range for effective operation is 6.0 to 9.0. Organic Iron below 0.5ppm.
Exact contaminant removal properties will be entirely dependent upon the local water quality.
For Manganese levels above 2ppm with low pH you may require additional oxidation for effective removal. Pyrolox is chlorine tolerant, temperature range is 3 to 45 degrees Celcius.

• All Systems are supplied with service and drain line flow controllers.
• As backwash rates are twice that of service flow, it may be beneficial to use two smaller units in parallel.
• System performance can be enhanced by using an aerator assembly to optimise oxidation of the contaminants.
• Fleck 2750, 2850 and 3150 valves are supplied as standard with a “No Bypass” piston.
• Hi-Flow Filters 240 v AC / Pneumatic valves require air @ 6 Bar oil free.
• The lifetime of the media depends entirely upon site conditions and the frequency of backwashing.
• Replacement media is available
• Clack WS1 valves are supplied as standard with “Bypass” piston. No Bypass assemblies are available (XCV3070FM)
• Clack WS1.5 valves are supplied as standard with “Bypass” piston. No Bypass assemblies are available (XCV3071)
• Clack WS2 valves are supplied as standard with “Bypass” piston. No Bypass assemblies are available (XCV3076)
• Clack WS3 valves are supplied as standard with “Bypass” piston. No Bypass assemblies are available (XCV3083BSPT)
