Pentair Pentek NCP-BB Non-Cellulose Carbon Impregnated Pleated Filter Cartridge

The Pentair Pentek NCP-BB Non-Cellulose Carbon Impregnated Pleated Filter Cartridge is a high-capacity dual-function filtration element engineered to provide particulate removal and free chlorine taste and odour reduction within a single cartridge.

Manufactured from carbon-impregnated pleated polyester media, the cartridge combines the hydraulic performance of a pleated sediment filter with the adsorption characteristics of activated carbon. This provides efficient mechanical filtration whilst simultaneously reducing chlorine taste and odour.

The pleated construction significantly increases the effective filtration surface area compared with conventional wound, melt-blown and carbon block cartridges. This results in:

Unlike cellulose-based cartridges, the NCP Series utilises a synthetic non-cellulose polyester substrate, making it suitable for both chlorinated municipal supplies and untreated well water.

The integrated activated carbon media reduces free chlorine, chlorine taste and objectionable odours whilst capturing sediment, rust, sand, silt and pipe scale to a nominal filtration rating of 10 microns.

Designed for standard 10” × 4.5” Big Blue filter housings, the NCP-BB is ideal for residential, commercial and light industrial water treatment systems.
