SupaWind depth filter cartridges are manufactured from high quality yarn wound continuously around a cylindrical support core.

The wind pattern is designed to create tapered spiral passageways. During manufacture fibres are combed across these passageways and locked into place by successive layers. The passageways being tapered, provide finer filtration towards the centre of the cartridge.

The traditional wound construction of the SupaWind provides inherent strength, is not easily punctured and is capable of withstanding severe operating conditions. Solid matter in the liquid is removed by impingement entrapment in this highly efficient filter media, both on the surface, and throughout the entire depth of the cartridge.

Our SupaWind elements are manufactured in controlled conditions in a state of the art manufacturing facility. The yarn is spun from high quality staple fibre specifically for filter cartridge manufacture.
