K526-X210-14000 AquaMatic 526 2½" Normally Open Valve with Limit Stop
The AquaMatic K526-X210-14000 is a 2½" normally open diaphragm-operated composite control valve with adjustable limit stop, designed for water treatment and industrial process applications where dependable automatic valve operation and the ability to restrict maximum flow are required.
Part of the AquaMatic K52 Series, the K526 uses corrosion-resistant composite materials and AquaMatic’s proven Y-pattern valve design. The large seat opening and high-lift disc allow relatively high flow rates with low pressure loss, while the diaphragm itself acts as the actuator, avoiding the need for a separate pneumatic or electric actuator.
The X210 configuration is supplied as Normally Open with Limit Stop, with EP / Buna / EP (RAN) sealing materials.

The manufacturer's specification lists the 2½" K526 with a Cv of 100, providing substantial flow capacity for larger commercial and industrial water-treatment installations.
Maximum operating pressure is 125 psi (8.6 bar) and maximum operating temperature is 140°F (60°C).
Adjustable Limit Stop
Unlike the standard K526-X200-14000 normally open valve, the K526-X210-14000 incorporates a limit stop. AquaMatic lists a limit stop for flow control as an available K52 Series option.
The limit stop mechanically restricts the maximum opening of the valve, allowing the installer to reduce or regulate the maximum flow through the valve where required. This can be particularly useful in water treatment installations where excessive service or backwash flow needs to be prevented.
Features & Benefits
-
Normally open operation
-
Adjustable limit stop for flow control
-
Corrosion-resistant composite construction
-
High-flow Cv 100 design
-
Large seat opening and high-lift disc
-
Low pressure loss compared with many conventional valve designs
-
Pre-formed, stress-relieved diaphragm for responsive operation and extended diaphragm life
-
Diaphragm operates as the actuator
-
Separate flow and control chambers
-
Components can be serviced while the valve remains installed in the pipeline
-
Compatible with a range of AquaMatic control arrangements
-
Multiple end connection options available
AquaMatic specifically states that all components can be serviced while the valve remains in-line, helping simplify maintenance and minimise disruption to connected pipework.
Connection Options
The K52 Series is designed for use with interchangeable end connectors, allowing the valve to be adapted to different pipework arrangements. AquaMatic states that the available connectors allow K52 valves to accommodate pipe sizes from 3/8" to 3", depending on valve model and adaptor arrangement.
For the K526, compatible adaptor options include 2½" flange and female socket configurations, with adaptor kits fitted directly to the valve body. (AqMatic)
Typical Applications

Industrial process control
-
Mining and waste treatment systems
Water treatment, process water, deionisation, desalination and other industrial applications are specifically identified by AquaMatic for the K52 Series.
Materials & Chemical Resistance
Internal components in contact with the process fluid are manufactured from composite materials, helping provide good corrosion resistance in water treatment and chemical-duty installations. The K52 Series is available with different sealing materials to suit particular applications.
Important: AquaMatic advises that these valves are not recommended for use with aromatic or hydrocarbon-based media.
Normally Open Operation
In its normally open configuration, the K526 remains open when control pressure is absent. When control pressure is applied to the diaphragm chamber, the valve closes. The separate flow and control chambers provide positive closing without requiring a conventional spring mechanism.
The limit stop allows the maximum open position to be adjusted, making this version particularly useful where flow through the valve needs to be restricted while retaining normal automatic open/close operation.
