Atlas UV LED 50 LPM Water Disinfection System
The Atlas UV LED 50 LPM is a compact, high-performance ultraviolet water disinfection system designed to provide effective protection against bacteria and microorganisms without the use of chemicals.
Using advanced UV-C LED technology, the system exposes water to germicidal ultraviolet light as it passes through the treatment chamber, helping to prevent microorganisms from reproducing. With a stated disinfection performance of ≥99.9% against E. coli, it provides an efficient solution for domestic, commercial, filtration and reverse osmosis applications.
Unlike conventional UV systems that use continuously operating mercury lamps, the Atlas UV LED features a built-in flow switch. The UV LEDs automatically activate when water flow is detected and switch off when the flow stops. This reduces unnecessary operating hours and energy consumption while preventing the system from continuously heating standing water.
High Flow UV LED Water Treatment
The Atlas UV LED 50 LPM offers impressive treatment capacity from an exceptionally compact unit.
It provides a working flow rate of up to 50 litres per minute with reverse osmosis water and up to 37 litres per minute with suitably filtered water.
With 1" BSPP connections, a compact 320 mm body and a maximum operating pressure of 20 bar, it can be easily integrated into a wide range of water treatment installations.

Integrated LED status indication
Automatic Flow-Activated Operation
The integrated flow detector automatically activates the UV LEDs when water begins to flow through the system.
When demand stops, the UV LEDs switch off automatically, helping to conserve energy and maximise the available LED service life.
The integrated status indicator provides a clear visual indication of system operation, including treatment, standby and fault conditions.
Compact, High-Capacity Design
Measuring just 320 mm long and approximately 61.5 mm in diameter, the Atlas UV LED 50 LPM combines a high treatment capacity with an extremely compact footprint.
This makes it particularly useful where installation space is limited or where a conventional UV chamber would be difficult to accommodate.
Typical Applications
The Atlas UV LED 50 LPM is suitable for a wide range of treated-water applications, including:
-
Domestic drinking water systems
-
Whole-house water treatment
-
Reverse osmosis systems
-
Water filtration systems
-
Commercial drinking water systems
-
Laboratories
-
Restaurants and catering applications
-
Final-stage microbiological protection following suitable pre-treatment
For optimum UV performance, incoming water should be appropriately pre-treated and within the specified operating parameters of the system.

Benefits of UV LED Water Disinfection
UV LED technology provides a modern alternative to conventional mercury-lamp UV systems. LEDs provide instant operation and can be activated only when water treatment is actually required.
For applications with intermittent water demand, this makes the Atlas UV LED 50 LPM an efficient and practical solution, combining high-flow water disinfection with compact dimensions, automatic operation and energy-efficient UV-C LED technology.
