SEO Product Description

The FilmTec™ SG30LE-440i Reverse Osmosis Membrane Element from DuPont Water Solutions is a premium 8" x 40" semiconductor-grade RO membrane engineered for the production of ultra-high purity (UPW) water. Designed specifically for the demanding requirements of the microelectronics, semiconductor, pharmaceutical and high-purity process industries, the SG30LE-440i combines exceptional contaminant rejection with low operating pressure to deliver outstanding water quality while reducing operating costs.

Featuring an impressive 440 ft² (41 m²) active membrane area, the SG30LE-440i provides high permeate production while allowing systems to be designed with fewer membrane elements. Its low-energy design operates at significantly lower feed pressures than conventional semiconductor-grade membranes, helping to reduce both capital expenditure and long-term energy consumption.

The advanced thin-film composite polyamide membrane delivers excellent rejection of silica, boron, dissolved salts and low molecular weight organic compounds, making it ideal as a polishing membrane within ultrapure water systems. An accelerated Total Organic Carbon (TOC) rinse-down profile enables rapid start-up after installation or maintenance, allowing high-quality water production in less time.

Each membrane incorporates DuPont's patented iLEC™ Interlocking End Cap Technology, eliminating the need for lubricants, reducing the possibility of O-ring leaks and preventing the generation of fine particles that could compromise ultrapure water quality. This results in greater reliability, reduced maintenance and improved overall system performance.

Manufactured for installation in standard 8-inch pressure vessels, the SG30LE-440i is suitable for new low-energy ultrapure water installations where maximum rejection, high productivity and reduced operating costs are essential.
