The Fleck 2850/1710 AiQ NBP Water Softener Valve is a heavy-duty commercial and industrial control valve combining the proven Fleck 2850 brass valve body with Pentair's latest Advanced-iQ (AiQ) controller and powerhead.

Designed for demanding water softening applications, the Fleck 2850 AiQ provides high flow capacity, robust construction and flexible electronic control. The valve is suitable for single or multiple tank systems and is recommended for softener vessels from 10" to 30" diameter.

The new AiQ powerhead provides a modern, intuitive interface with a full-colour multilingual display. Its modular construction simplifies installation and servicing, while the integrated USB-C connection allows configuration, data transfer, usage history retrieval, diagnostics, troubleshooting and software updates. Pre-defined configurations can also be used to efficiently programme multiple valves.

Advanced AiQ Control

Pentair's Advanced-iQ platform has been designed to simplify commissioning and ongoing maintenance. The controller can be programmed before installation and supports USB-C data transfer for configuration, diagnostics, software updates and retrieval of operating history.

For installers managing multiple systems, flash programming allows predefined configurations or water-specific profiles to be transferred between valves, helping reduce commissioning time and maintain consistent settings.

Regeneration Cycle

The Fleck 2850/1710 AiQ operates using a programmable downflow regeneration sequence:
