This clamp will keep the distributor tube in the proper position in the mineral tank and will not allow the bottom distributor to pull up when removing the control valve for service. The clamp holds the riser pipe in the center of the tank for proper engagement to the control valve. It is designed to allow the use of upper distributor baskets as well. The riser hold down clamp also diffuses the water over the top of the media bed for better distribution and less chance of channeling.
