The SPECTRUM SSP Standard Spun Bonded TruDepth Filter Cartridge is a reliable, general-purpose depth filter designed for sediment and particulate removal across a wide range of water treatment and process applications.

Part of the SPECTRUM TruDepth range, the SSP sits between the Economic and higher-performance grades, providing an excellent balance of filtration performance, dirt-holding capacity and value for money. Its true graded-density construction uses progressively finer polypropylene fibres from the outer surface towards the core, allowing larger particles to be captured first while finer particles are retained deeper within the cartridge.

This 3D melt-blown structure helps reduce premature surface blinding and provides longer, more consistent filtration compared with conventional surface-loading cartridges.

TruDepth Graded-Density Construction

The SSP uses SPECTRUM's TruDepth melt-blown technology to create a three-dimensional micropore matrix.

The outer layers provide coarser filtration while progressively finer fibres towards the centre capture smaller particles. This allows contaminants of different sizes to be retained throughout the depth of the cartridge rather than concentrating solely on the outer surface.
