Acquapuro Roma Pull-Down Spout 3 Way Tap – 2 Lever

The Acquapuro Roma Pull-Down Spout 3 Way Tap is a stylish two-lever kitchen mixer tap designed to deliver normal hot and cold mains water alongside a completely separate supply of filtered, softened or reverse osmosis water – all from one contemporary tap.

Manufactured from stainless steel, the Roma combines the convenience of a three-way tap with a practical 500mm pull-down spout, making it easier to rinse food, wash larger items and clean around the sink. The pull-down outlet features a clever dual-flow design while maintaining separation between the treated water and the normal hot and cold supply.

Three Water Supplies from One Tap

The Roma eliminates the need to install a separate drinking water tap alongside your main kitchen mixer.

The right-hand lever controls the normal hot and cold water, while the second lever operates the dedicated filtered or treated water supply. This provides the functionality of a conventional mixer and drinking water tap in a much cleaner, more streamlined installation.

Most importantly, the filtered water has its own dedicated internal pathway and outlet. The treated water passes through a separate flexible tube and exits through the centre of the spout, while normal hot and cold water is dispensed around the outside. This helps prevent the filtered or RO water from mixing with the untreated supply.

Ideal for Reverse Osmosis, Water Filters & Water Softeners

Thanks to its stainless steel construction, the Acquapuro Roma is suitable for use with reverse osmosis (RO) systems as well as drinking water filters and water softeners.

This makes the Roma an excellent choice for customers who want to connect an under-sink RO or filtration system without adding a separate small drinking water faucet to the worktop.

500mm Pull-Down Spout

One of the standout features of the Roma is its pull-down swan-neck spout, which incorporates approximately 500mm of hose. The extended reach makes everyday kitchen tasks easier, particularly when rinsing large pans, cleaning the sink or directing water exactly where it is needed.

The tap also incorporates quarter-turn ceramic valves and cartridges for smooth, convenient operation.

A Neater Alternative to a Separate Drinking Water Tap

For kitchens fitted with an under-sink filtration or RO system, the Acquapuro Roma provides an attractive way to keep the sink area uncluttered. Instead of having a standard mixer alongside a second drinking water tap, the Roma combines both functions within one high-quality stainless steel fitting.

Its dedicated treated-water pathway, RO-compatible construction and practical pull-down spout make it particularly well suited to modern kitchens where both water quality and everyday convenience are important.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a 3-way kitchen tap?
A 3-way kitchen tap delivers normal hot and cold water together with a separate supply of treated drinking water from a single tap. The Acquapuro Roma allows you to connect an under-sink water filter, reverse osmosis system or other treated water supply without installing a separate drinking water tap.
Can the Acquapuro Roma be used with a reverse osmosis system?
Yes. The Acquapuro Roma is suitable for use with reverse osmosis (RO) systems. The treated water travels through a dedicated internal pathway and outlet, keeping it separate from the normal hot and cold water supply.
Does filtered water mix with the normal tap water?
No. The Roma uses a separate internal pathway for the filtered, softened or RO water, so the treated drinking water does not mix with the normal hot and cold supply inside the tap.
Can I use the Roma with an under-sink water filter?
Yes. The third water connection can be connected to a suitable under-sink drinking water filter, allowing filtered water to be dispensed directly from the main kitchen tap.
How does the two-lever design work?
The two-lever design provides separate control of the treated drinking water and the normal hot/cold mixer supply. This gives you all three water functions while retaining the clean appearance of a two-lever kitchen tap.
What water pressure does the Acquapuro Roma require?
The recommended minimum water pressure is 1.5 bar, with a maximum operating pressure of 5.0 bar. Water pressure should be checked before installation to ensure satisfactory performance.
What connections does the Roma tap use?
The tap is supplied with three 600mm flexible connection hoses with 1/2" connections for connection to the hot, cold and treated water supplies.
What is the maximum worktop or sink thickness?
The Acquapuro Roma can be installed through a worktop or sink up to 37mm thick. It uses a Solid-Fix installation system to provide secure mounting.
What is the flow rate of the Acquapuro Roma?
The specified hot and cold water flow rate is 5.40 litres per minute, with a mixed water flow of 7.80 litres per minute at 0.5 bar.
What is the Acquapuro Roma made from?
The Roma is manufactured from stainless steel and incorporates quarter-turn ceramic valves and cartridges for smooth, reliable operation.
Why choose a 3-way tap instead of a separate drinking water tap?
A 3-way tap provides normal hot, cold and treated drinking water from a single fitting. This avoids drilling an additional hole for a separate drinking water tap and helps keep the sink and worktop area uncluttered.
What colours is the Acquapuro Roma available in?
The Acquapuro Roma is available in Chrome and Brushed Steel finishes, allowing it to complement a range of kitchen styles and sink finishes.
