Clack V3051-BSPT WS2H 2" Drain Line Flow Control (DLFC) – 7–150 GPM

The Clack V3051-BSPT WS2H 2" Drain Line Flow Control (DLFC) Assembly is a genuine Clack stainless steel flow control housing designed for commercial and industrial water softeners and backwashing filtration systems.

Featuring 2" male and female BSPT threaded connections, this heavy-duty assembly provides controlled drain flow during regeneration and backwashing, helping ensure the correct flow rate for the filter media and vessel size.

The V3051-BSPT accommodates up to four 1" flow control washers and five ¾" flow control washers, providing a combined flow control range of 7.0 to 150 GPM (26.5–568 L/min).

Its multi-washer configuration allows the drain flow rate to be tailored to the specific requirements of larger water treatment installations.

Drain Line Flow Control Washers

The Clack V3051-BSPT allows multiple flow control washers to be combined to achieve the required total backwash flow rate.

1" Flow Washers – V3190 Series

Up to four 1" drain line flow control washers can be installed, with individual flow ratings ranging from 9.0 to 25.0 GPM.

¾" Flow Washers – V3162 Series

Up to five additional ¾" drain line flow control washers can be fitted, with individual flow ratings ranging from 0.7 to 10.0 GPM.

The flow control retainer incorporates blanked openings which can be opened as required to accommodate the selected washers.

The combined flow rate is determined by the total of the installed flow control washers, allowing the assembly to be configured for different vessel sizes and filtration media.

Installation Information

The V3051-BSPT features 2" BSPT threaded connections and can also be connected using suitable grooved pipe couplings.

The stainless steel housing is secured using four bolts, allowing access to the internal flow control retainer for installation or replacement of washers.

When configuring the assembly, select the appropriate combination of flow washers according to the required backwash rate. Ensure the washers and internal retainer are installed in the correct direction of flow.

The available water supply and drainage system must be capable of accommodating the selected backwash flow rate.

Please Note: Drain line flow control washers are not included and must be purchased separately.
