Stage 1 – High Capacity Sediment Filtration

The dual-gradient sediment cartridge captures:

Flow Rate

The Ferromix iron reduction cartridge is designed for optimum performance at approximately 5 litres per minute. While some similarly sized cartridges are advertised with much higher flow rates, Ecosoft specifies a lower service flow to maximise contact time with the filtration media, improving iron reduction efficiency and overall treatment performance.

Replacement Interval

Replacement frequency depends on water quality and usage. As a general guide:

• Sediment cartridge: every 3–6 months
• Iron reduction cartridge: every 3–6 months

Replace sooner if you notice a significant reduction in flow rate, increased pressure loss or a decline in water quality.
