Ecosoft Ecolite Ultrasoft Strong Acid Cation Exchange Resin – 25 L
Ecosoft Ecolite Ultrasoft is a premium-grade strong acid cation exchange resin with a highly uniform particle size, developed for high-performance water softening in commercial and industrial applications. Supplied in the sodium (Na+) form, the gel-type polystyrene sulphonate resin exchanges hardness-forming calcium and magnesium ions for sodium to reduce scale formation and protect downstream equipment.
Compared with conventional broad-size resins, Ecolite Ultrasoft has a tightly controlled bead size distribution, with at least 95% of particles between 0.5 and 0.84 mm and a uniformity coefficient of 1.20 maximum. This gives a consistent resin bed and makes it particularly well suited to demanding softening duties, including hot-water and steam boiler treatment.

Backwashing
After each operating cycle, Ecosoft recommends backwashing the resin bed sufficiently to produce approximately 25–50% bed expansion. This helps remove collected foreign matter and reclassify the resin bed before the next service cycle.

Store in the original unopened packaging in a cool, dry area. For best results, Ecosoft recommends indoor storage between 0–40°C. If the resin is exposed to freezing temperatures, allow it to defrost naturally at room temperature and do not apply heat. Protect from contamination and keep away from toxic chemicals and strongly odorous substances.
Guaranteed shelf life in original manufacturer packaging: 5 years for industrial water treatment applications and 2 years for potable water and food applications.
