The G-QS-410 features a closed (domed) one-end design and is supplied complete with two replacement EPDM O-rings for a secure, leak-free installation. It is compatible with a wide range of Sterilight, Viqua, Evoqua and A.O. Smith ultraviolet disinfection systems.

Over time, limescale, iron, manganese and other mineral deposits can accumulate on the quartz sleeve, reducing UV transmission and lowering the effectiveness of your UV system. Maintenance Recommendations

For optimum UV system performance:

• Clean the quartz sleeve every 6–12 months, depending on water quality.
• Remove mineral deposits using Calcium, Lime & Rust (CLR) remover or white vinegar.
• Replace the quartz sleeve every 2 years to maintain maximum UV light transmission.
• Inspect the supplied O-rings during servicing and replace them if they become worn or damaged.
