The electrode comes fitted with a BNC connector and 1m coaxial cable for effortless compatibility with an extensive range of pH meters. For pH meters utilizing CAL Check™ systems, the HI-1043P version features an added pin connector.

Care and Maintenance for Extended Usability

Proper maintenance is crucial for maximizing the performance and longevity of the HI-1043B. Keep the glass bulb and junction hydrated using the HI-70300 storage solution. When using benchtop meters, immerse the electrode in a small beaker of storage solution, ensuring the junction is completely covered. For portable meters, apply a few drops of the storage solution into the protective cap before storing.

Avoid common pitfalls: Never store the electrode in purified water, as it can dehydrate the glass bulb and compromise performance. If storage solution is unavailable, pH 4 buffer is a recommended alternative to inhibit bacterial and algae growth.
