Manual Backwashing Head 3/4" Ports (F56E)
With a simple turn of the handle your media will be backwashed with the water going to drain. Once the water is runing clean the handle can be turned back into "service" position. A great economical alternative for an automatic backwashing head. It is also a good option when power is not available. When selecting a valve setting, please make sure to depress the handle before turning.
Ideal for use with carbon, juraperle or sand filters.
1.05" riser required.
Maximum flow rate 2m3/hr
A drain line flow control will be needed. Typically a 5 gpm DLFC is used for a 10" diameter vessel.
