The SPECTRUM INOX PBH-SGB-1-4-1.5-G Bag Housing is a heavy-duty 316L stainless steel Size 4 bag filter housing designed for commercial and industrial liquid filtration applications. Part of the SPECTRUM INOX Premier range, it combines a robust swing-bolt closure, integrated pressure gauges and a maximum flow rate of 150 litres per minute.

Designed to accommodate one Size 4 filter bag, the housing features 1.5" BSP male inlet and outlet connections and provides an effective solution for removing suspended solids and particulate contamination from process and water treatment applications.

Heavy-Duty 316L Stainless Steel Construction

The housing body, lid and internal filter basket are manufactured from 316L stainless steel, providing excellent durability and resistance to corrosion, high temperatures, pressure and aggressive chemicals.

The supporting legs and swing bolts are manufactured from 304 stainless steel, while a Buna-N (NBR) O-ring provides the housing seal.

With a maximum operating pressure of 10 bar and temperature rating of 121°C, the PBH-SGB-1-4-1.5-G is engineered for demanding professional filtration installations.

Premier Swing-Bolt Closure

Unlike the smaller SPECTRUM INOX housings available with standard V-band closures, the Size 4 housing uses the Premier swing-bolt closure system.

This heavy-duty closure provides secure sealing while allowing the housing to be opened for filter bag inspection and replacement. Integrated lifting eyes assist with handling the lid during servicing.

Integrated Inlet and Outlet Pressure Gauges

The PBH-SGB-1-4-1.5-G is supplied with pressure gauges together with inlet and outlet gauge ports.

Monitoring pressure before and after the filter bag allows operators to assess system performance and monitor differential pressure. An increasing pressure differential can indicate that the filter bag is becoming loaded and requires replacement.

The housing also incorporates vent and drain ports to assist with depressurisation, draining and efficient filter bag changeout.

Adjustable Mounting Legs

Stainless steel mounting legs provide a stable installation and can be adjusted to assist with positioning the housing correctly within the filtration system.

The combination of a compact Size 4 bag configuration and 1.5" BSPM connections makes the housing suitable where a robust stainless steel filtration solution is required without the larger dimensions and flow capacity of Size 1 and Size 2 housings.
