Pentair EPM Modified Epsilon Carbon Block Filter Cartridge – 10 Micron

The Pentair EPM Series Modified Epsilon Carbon Block Filter Cartridge provides economical and effective filtration for the reduction of chlorine taste and odour, unpleasant tastes and odours, and sediment from water.

The EPM Series is a modified version of Pentair’s EP Series carbon block cartridge, designed to offer reliable carbon filtration at a more economical price. Its nominal 10 micron filtration rating combines particulate filtration with activated carbon treatment, making it suitable for a wide range of residential, commercial and general water treatment applications.

Manufactured using bonded powdered activated carbon (PAC), the EPM cartridge features a high-porosity carbon block construction. This helps maintain a low pressure drop while reducing the likelihood of the cartridge becoming prematurely blocked, allowing more of the carbon’s adsorption capacity to be utilised.

An additional polyolefin outer wrap captures sediment before it reaches the carbon block, increasing dirt-holding capacity and helping to extend the useful life of the cartridge.
