Important Considerations: When NOT to use this Kit

While the In/Out Upflow system is highly efficient, it is not suitable for every water profile.

Warning: Iron and Manganese If your water test results show levels of Iron or Manganese, you should not use an In/Out head. Because this system does not perform a high-pressure backwash, iron particles will become trapped in the media bed, eventually "fusing" the Juraperle together and clogging the system. For water with heavy sediment or metal content, a Backwashing pH Filter is required to physically flush those contaminants to drain.

Simplified Maintenance

The consumption of Juraperle depends entirely on your water’s acidity and usage volume. Traditionally, checking media levels meant a difficult teardown of the plumbing. With our Domehole Vessel, you simply close the bypass, unscrew the dome plug, and top up using the provided funnel. It’s that simple.
