SPECTRUM INOX Bag Housing Stainless Steel Size 1 2" BSPM with Gauges – SBH-SGB-1-1-2-G
The SPECTRUM INOX Bag Housing SBH-SGB-1-1-2-G is a heavy-duty 316L stainless steel bag filter housing designed for demanding commercial and industrial liquid filtration applications. Combining high flow capability with excellent resistance to pressure, temperature and aggressive chemicals, this Size 1 housing provides a robust solution for high-capacity particulate and solids removal.
Designed to accept a single Size 1 filter bag, the SBH-SGB-1-1-2-G offers a maximum flow rate of 300 litres per minute and features 2" BSP male inlet and outlet connections for integration into high-flow process pipework.
Heavy-Duty 316L Stainless Steel Construction
The housing body, lid and internal basket are manufactured from 316L stainless steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance and durability in demanding water treatment and process filtration environments.
The housing is rated for operating pressures up to 10 bar and temperatures up to 121°C, making it suitable for a broad range of industrial filtration duties.
A Buna-N (NBR) O-ring seal provides reliable sealing between the housing body and lid.
Integrated Pressure Gauges
The SBH-SGB-1-1-2-G is supplied with pressure gauges and dedicated inlet and outlet gauge ports.
Monitoring pressure on either side of the filter allows operators to assess system performance and identify increasing differential pressure as the filter bag becomes loaded, helping determine when bag replacement is required.
The housing also incorporates vent and drain ports, helping simplify depressurisation, draining and routine filter bag changes.
V-Band Clamp Closure
This model forms part of the SPECTRUM INOX Standard Size 1 and Size 2 range and uses a V-band clamp closure.
The clamp arrangement provides convenient access to the internal filter basket and bag, helping reduce downtime during routine filter replacement and maintenance.
Adjustable Mounting Legs
Integrated adjustable stainless steel mounting legs provide a stable installation while allowing the housing position to be adjusted to suit the surrounding pipework and installation environment.

High dirt-loading applications
High-Flow Size 1 Bag Filtration
With a rated flow of up to 300 LPM, the SPECTRUM SBH-SGB-1-1-2-G provides substantially greater flow capacity than conventional cartridge filter housings while retaining the simplicity and high dirt-loading capacity of replaceable filter bags.
The combination of 316L stainless steel construction, 2" BSPM connections, pressure gauges, vent and drain facilities and adjustable mounting legs makes this housing particularly well suited to professional water treatment and industrial filtration installations where reliability, serviceability and flow capacity are important.
Please Note
Actual operating flow will depend on the selected filter bag micron rating, fluid characteristics, contaminant loading, system pressure and acceptable pressure differential. Always select the filter bag and housing operating conditions to suit the individual application.
