The SPECTRUM AMS 5 Micron Antimicrobial TruDepth Filter Cartridge is a specialist spun polypropylene depth filter designed for private water supplies and applications where bacterial growth within conventional sediment cartridges can cause premature blocking, biofilm, unpleasant odours and staining.

Manufactured from polypropylene with an antimicrobial active ingredient, the AMS cartridge uses silver-ion technology to resist and inhibit the growth of bacteria and microbes trapped within the filter media. This helps keep the cartridge cleaner for longer while maintaining effective particulate filtration and a high dirt-holding capacity. 

With a 5 micron rating and 90% filtration efficiency, the SPECTRUM AMS provides graded depth filtration for the reduction of sediment and suspended particulate. It is particularly suited to borehole water, well water and other private water supplies, as well as protecting pumps and providing reliable pre-filtration before UV disinfection systems.
